This was my first fleece jacket and I wanted something with the new Omni Heat technology.Omni Heat- the technology works well and is comfortable to wear (not scratchy or abrasive on bare skin), I would say the material keeps you 10-15% warmer than something of similar weight. A lot of people complain about the look/feel of the omni heat saying it attracts attention when removing the garment. I have not found that to be an issue at all, if the look bothers you then that's a personal preference.Warmth-The jacket is quite warm and does a great job of keeping me insulated from snow/rain/wind. I have been wearing it as an everyday work jacket. The jacket held up great in 16F with moderate snowfall and kept my core at a good temp. It is a bit warm to wear indoors but has enough venting to wear in the 40s/50s. I was initially worried this wouldn't be warm enough toFit/Finish-My only complaint so far has been the zippers on the pockets are sometimes hard to use, especially with gloves on utilizing the draw cords. The jacket is cut to be athletic and will run a bit small. I ordered the medium and can wear this over a dress shirt comfortably. The omni heat material is everywhere you want it and nowhere you dont (neckline/collar is a fleece material). Fleece held up well in snow, it brushed right off. The fleece also picks up a lot of pet hair/dust/etc but that is the nature of the material.
