Hard-wearing outer shell and a fleece liner create an excellent barrier to the elements. The elasticated wrist cuffs keep things simple and snag-free, don't forget to cinch down the waist and hood adjustments to really trap in the warmth. Use the two zippered side pockets and their fleece lining to store your phone, wallet, or gloves, or keep your hands in there and shove everything else into the top loading kangaroo pouch and zip it shut. Being designed as an outer layer, these are sized assuming a thin mid-layer is worn underneath, be sure to adjust your size accordingly if you plan to wear thicker layers.
