Columbia Women's Wind Protector Fleece Jacket - Lightweight Warm Winter Outerwear for Hiking, Camping & Outdoor Activities

I love it. I am 5'2 115 lbs and the XS fit great because it is a slim fitting jacket. The slevees have elastic handcuffs so sleeve length was not an issue. Actually, sleeves where not very long at all. Because I am a size 0, the jacket is not tight on me. There is room for a fleece underneath but the jacket retains a feminine shape and doesn't look big without it. Thus jackets runs small compared to the Benton Springs jacket for example. The material is not as soft and fluffy as regular fleece. This is simply the nature of the wind blocking material used. The jacket keeps you warm between 45-60F and 30-45F with a fleece underneath. I am a fan!I love this jacket! It is so warm and does a fantastic job blocking the wind. It's almost too good sometimes (I have worn it out walking somewhere and it keeps ALL my body heat in, so I can end up a bit sweaty when I get to my destination). But, for fall/winter/early spring, it's wonderful. Washes well and is very comfortable to wear. I'm 6' tall, ordered large, and feel like it's a fine length... I could probably do with it being an inch longer in the torso, but it's really fine as it is. The sleeves are a good length.This fleece jacket really fits well. I'm a busty woman (41") with a smaller waist & body frame, and this is PERFECT for my atypical body attributes. This zips up nicely, and snugly, over a sweater. The pull cord at the waist prevents chilly breezes from getting in. The pink / purple color is very vibrant and flattering on my pale olive skin. I've gotten LOTS of compliments already on my great jacket.Warmth-wise it is very nice so far. I'm planning on using it for our Midwestern autumn / spring seasons, and so far I've been comfortable in temperatures in the 40's. Love this jacket!Love the color and the texture of the fleece. This is a little more fitted than I prefer, so I will have to wear a lighter shirt under it. It seems to really be lacking in warmth, so will be good only for those blustery March days, not the colder winter days. I wanted something that was a little warmer than this is. The wind block feature seems to be adequate.Nice fit. I ordered an extra large to be sure I could use as an outer layer. Good plan, as it fits comfortably. I have long arms and was worried about the length--all fine. Not a real thick fleece, but overall happy with purchase.I do love Columbia Sportswear - great quality at a reasonable price. Only thing is I find they tend to run a bit big for me at 5' 2"/ 105lbs. so there you have it ;)I needed a replacement jacket for my 10-year-old wind block fleece jacket from Land's End. This is a fantastic jacket with everything I was looking for: wind protection, warmth for 15-45 degrees, room enough for layers (order up one size, I usually wear a medium and I needed a large), and great color for winter photos.Very stiff. Somewhat tight around the hips so order a size up at least. Not cozy. Not clear that there is a reflective stiff lining inside which is what makes it wind proof. It will be fine for the few days I need to use it.
