I received this item on Jan 7 2016..my height is 5' 8" and weight 160 pounds i order the small size but just beacuse i had went to a name brand store and they had this similar jacket, and i was able to wear it...i tried a medium size too... it did fit well but i usually like my fleece jackets to be a perfect fit..i normally wear med jackets but the small jusr worked out well for me. I also had thermo shirt and a polo shirt while wearing this jacket and it didn't felt tight...i am not a husky guy but i will consider myself toned with a fairly flat stomach. .If you you consider yourself like me a small size will be good but if you a husky guy then i will get a bigger size maybe med it all depends how you like to wear the jacket or if you like to wear lots of inside shirts.I consider this jacket very comfortable and warm i wear it in the 30 degree weather with a thermo shirt inside and felt warm. This jacket looks very good, good quality and it looks good..i already got good compliments about this jacket.. i picked the black cause it goes with everything . If you have doubts on fitment go to a name brand store like the one i went to it starts with K and finishes with S and go try one this is were i went to try the jacket but did not like the price there ...It normally goes for $60.00 .I am new to Columbia Brand and from now on i will continue to purchase this brand.Overall the jacket is great, looks good, comfortable, price is great, and definitely feels that you are wearing a name brand fleece jacket 100 thumbs up!!!I have been using it for the last 3 years. The jacket is still fully functional, the zippers all work. So it is a good value for the money spentIn many ways one fleece is just like another. They are nice and warm. However, I like the snug (but not too) cut of the Fuller Ridge model. The sleeve cuffs aren't so tight with elastic that you have trouble pushing your hands through, especially if you already have a long sleeved shirt and sweatshirt on as well. Flannel shirts and sweaters tend to bind with the inner nap of the fleece causing them to pull upward on your arms. So, you may have to pull your shirt cuffs back down. The waste band is also snug which makes sense. I particularly liked the gray color as it contrasts with bluejeans nicely. So many fleece are also one shade of blue or another. I wasn't crazy about the black ribboning here and there but I actually came to like it once I saw it in person. The price was marked down I believe, so it was a good deal. It has the usual zippered pockets and overall the quality of all the zippers is nothing exceptional but quite good.Nice soft spring or early fall jacket to wear outside. True to size. I also wear it around the house in the winter because it’s so comfortable with the temp in the house set at 72 or cooler. The one complaint I have & it’s a big one for me, this jacket picks up animal dog fur constantly!!! If you like hanging back with your dog beside you & scratching them, you will end up with lots of dog fur on that side of jacket. Tearing off a piece of your lint brush & briskly rubbing this jacket helps clean off the fur. I also get it dry cleaned after wearing it on & off for about 2-3 weeks. Dry cleaning gets rid of any fur & keeps it looking brand new. By the way I own 3 of them & just bought another one last night so I have 4 in different colors.I used to own the previous version of this jacket and liked it very much. I purchased the current version and am not happy because the hem is basically an elastic band and there is no drawstring like previous versions. This band has already lost its elasticity and is now allowing cold air in. The fit and material are good but the loose hem (due to lack of drawstring) is really a deal breaker. Another minor problem is that there is a big and shiny tag on the outside that says "Polartec" on one side and "Impossible Made Possible" on the other side (I am not kidding).Unfortunately I can't return it because I washed the jacket before first use without bothering to explicitly check for the drawstring (its something you won't think about until you wear the jacket and go out in the cold).Update after almost an year of use:The jacket has held up well. Not too much pilling inspite of repeated washes (can't say the same for my Patagonia Better Sweater which cost much more but looks so bad after a couple of washes that I stopped wearing it). I have gotten used to not having drawstring. It still bothers me, but not as much. I couldn't stand that shiny tag, so I cut it out using scissors. The jacket has molded well to my body and fit looks really good. After a year of use, I would now give it 3 to 3.5 stars.I ordered this jacket as a spring hiking jacket. Even though I am a woman, I ordered the men's for more room and the longer sleeves. I don't always like to pack gloves and if my hands get cold, I simply pull them into the longer sleeves. I also like the earthy colors of the men's jackets because they blend into the outdoor environment. I had a Timberland jacket that I like a lot but this one does have one huge advantage over that jacket in that the Columbia has zippered pockets. If I store a headband, hat, whatever - I don't have to worry about losing anything on the trail. This is a good weight and seems like it will pack well or even just work tied around my waist. I'm happy with this one!One of the other reviewers said he received a half-zip jacket, but the Fuller Ridge is a full-zipper model. I ordered this from Amazon and received the full-zipper jacket that's pictured. Perhaps the other reviewer ordered from a non-Amazon seller? Anyway, I really like this fleece jacket -- soft and comfy, perfect to use inside the house when the weather's cold (which is what I mostly use it for), and also to wear outside as long as you're not relying on it for your only jacket in like sub-freezing weather. Nice zippered pockets too. I also like that the wrists have elastics, so it actually fits on your wrist, unlike the loose wrists often found on other fleece jackets.UPDATE (11/12/15): I liked this so much, I bought another one in a different color. It also is full-zippered. I like to wear fleece jackets in the Fall through early Spring instead of wearing a sweater. Besides being overweight, my upper body qualifies me as "tall" while my lower body would be considered "regular". This jacket suits me perfectly in that it is long enough in both the body and the sleeves. It is comfortably warm and cozy without being too warm.
