This thing is huge! I normally wear a 4x and sometimes a 5x. I got this jacket in a 4x, and it's huge on me. The shoulders fit just fine, but the rest of the jacket that fits around the belly is too big. I can overlap it in the front like a bathrobe. The sleeves are also longer than on other jackets, and I actually like it that way. I always have problems with jacket and shirt sleeves being too short, so this extra length does a great job at protecting my arms from the cold. One thing that I'd like to mention is that the pockets are in a weird place. Most jackets have pockets sort of in the hip area, but these are a little more towards the front. They're also set a little lower than most other jackets. It's awkward reaching for them, because my arms come in closer towards my front. Also, the pockets aren't very deep, so I always worry that my gloves, keys, and phone will fall out. When I go shopping, I prefer to put those items in my purse instead of the jacket. Otherwise, this jacket is extremely warm! I often joke and call it "my blanket." That's because it's big and made of the same material as a blanket. If you are always burning up like me, then you should use this jacket as a coat in bitter temperatures. Otherwise, you'll burn up!
